The Story Behind AAdi:
A Beginning Rooted in Compassion
Origin Story -- The Quest for Compassionate and Effective Home Health
AAdi Home Health was founded in 2006 by two sisters who saw a need for in-home health services after their father became ill a few years earlier. As their father’s illness progressed, the two sisters promised each other to work together to provide an expansion of community home health services focused on nurturing and compassionate care in their community. Armed with their Southern compassion, honesty, and hard-working ethics, the sisters launched AAdi Home Health in 2006, followed by AAdi Hospice in 2016.
In 2019, the Rendall family took over, expanding AAdi’s services to include home infusion therapy to meet the growing demand for compassionate, high-quality infusion care in the home.
The two sisters originally chose the name “AAdi” as a tribute to their father. In Hindu, “AAdi” means ‘new beginning,’ which resonates strongly with our mission by symbolizing the start of our patient’s recovery journey with us. It also signifies “first, superior, and unequaled,” reflecting our commitment to excellence.
Today, AAdi is one of the most prominent home health and hospice agencies in the Coastal Bend, known for our family-centered approach and dedication to exceptional patient-centered care. We are also the only fully accredited home infusion therapy agency in the region, continuously striving to improve patient outcomes and well-being.
