What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with serious illnesses. It focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness with the goal of improving the quality of life for both the patient and their family. Unlike hospice care, which is typically reserved for those nearing the end of life, palliative care can be appropriate for patients at any age and at any stage of a serious or chronic illness. Palliative Care can be provided alongside curative treatment plans for home health patients, ensuring comprehensive support.

Why Choose Palliative Care?
Managing a serious illness can be overwhelming, but palliative care offers numerous benefits, including:
Reduction of Symptom Burden
Expert management of symptoms such as complex pain, nausea, depression, anxiety, difficulty breathing, fatigue, and trouble sleeping.
Focus on Patient and Family
Emphasis on enhancing the quality of life for both patients and their families through compassionate care.
Communication and Coordination
Clear communication regarding treatment options and coordinated care plans with other physicians and specialists.
