About Health Care Accreditations
We understand that the accreditation landscape can be confusing, with many agencies highlighting their state licenses or other accreditations. While a Texas State license or accreditation from organizations like the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is important, The Joint Commission represents the pinnacle of health care accreditation. It involves the most rigorous evaluation process, including unannounced surveys and continuous performance monitoring, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed national benchmarks for quality and safety.
AAdi is accredited by TJC- the Highest Standard in Healthcare.
CHP & ACHC are considered about equal regarding the level of standards. Both are considerably less rigorous than TCJ.
HCAP & NAHC focus more on compliance and have less formal standards than TJC.
Texas State Licensing is the minimum requirement for all home health and hospice agencies.
