AAdi’s Home Infusion Therapy Services
We safely and effectively administer certain medications and biologics intravenously or subcutaneously for eligible patients. Our team works closely with your healthcare provider to ensure a seamless and supportive treatment experience.
Eligibility for Home Infusion Therapy
- No Need to be Homebound: Patients do not need to be confined to their homes.
- Insurance Coverage: Must have Medicare Part B or insurance with out-of-network Home Infusion Therapy benefits.
- Established Plan of Care: Must be under the care of a provider (physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant) with a plan of care that is reviewed periodically by the prescribing physician.
Covered Medications
To qualify, the “home infusion drug” must be an approved medication or biologic administered intravenously or subcutaneously for 15 minutes or longer in the patient’s home through a pump.
- Antivirals: For treating viruses, such as acyclovir and foscarnet sodium.
- Antifungals: For treating fungal infections, such as amphotericin.
- Cardiovascular Drugs: For heart conditions, such as dobutamine hydrochloride and milrinone lactate.
- Deferoxamine Mesylate: For treating high iron levels in patients who have undergone blood transfusions.
- IVIGs: Immunotherapy for treating antibody deficiencies.
- Chemotherapy Drugs: For certain types of cancer, such as doxorubicin hydrochloride and Blincyto.
